Another issue with fine Tuning and combined verses

I had a previous issue today and reported it Topic "Bug with combined verses \v 30,31 during fine tuning" That was in Joshua 8 with the Latin script. I have 2 Book collections of the same translation with the only difference being the script. One has Tibetan and the other is Latin.

I’m now doing Joshua 21 in the latin script.
This is what is happening. I have combined verses at \v 1,2 the issue isn’t happening at the beginning of the chapter but at verse 12. Verse 11 plays correctly but \v 12 has the text of \v 1,2 while the audio of \v 12 is played. When I export Joshua 21 as a HTML file the chapter has no error like it has in the “fine tuning”. \v 12 is verse 12 from Paratext. It isn’t repeating \v 1,2. When I check the timings with the HTML file it is okay for verse 12 and 13.

Here is the fine tuning showing verse 12 (which is \v 1,2 repeated)

Here is the export of HTML file

Here is the Paratext view of the chapter showing the combine verses 1,2 and verse 12

I have found a solution. Instead of using comma in the verse number (ie: \v 1,2) use hyphen (ie: \v 1-2) and that rectifies everything. Everything works fine then

Actually it causes another problem when the hyphen is used to joint the two verse for \v 1 & \v2 it causes the two verses to be hidden in the fine tuning. What I mean by hidden the vernacular text isn’t shown. This seems to happen at the beginning of the chapter (for Joshua) but I have found in another book (Judges) if the two verses are joined with a hyphen and it is in the middle of the chapter it is displayed correctly. I really don’t know what is happening

Does it work in the app itself (even if it doesn’t seem to show up in the fine-tuning)?

I haven’t tried the app yet. Here is the result of playing around with the different versions of combined verses. That is \v 1,2 and \v 1-2

The version which has the combined verses of \v 1,2 the highlighting will occur on the heading then it doesn’t appear on the combined verses of \v 1,2 but will start highlighting on \v 3. This occurs for both the fine tuning and the HTML export

In the version where the combined verses of \v 1-2 has an hyphen the combined verse doesn’t appear in the fine tuning (it is blank). When I play the audio the heading is highlighted and then when it gets to \v 3 it starts to highlight. When I export it to HTML the combined verse is there. When I play the audio the only highlighting which occurs is the heading no highlighting occurs for any verse in the chapter.
