[BUG] SAB forgets layouts after restart

After restarting SAB forgets how to display layouts.

E.g., we select a default layout(s):

That’s what we see in appDef:

but after restart of SAB:

PS. I have seen this bug before, maybe in SAB 6.x

I have tested this on Mac and on Windows.

As you have shown the settings are saved but not read in when reloaded.

So this is a problem on both systems.
