Builds failing with SAB 11.0.3 for apps with Picture Story Books

Last week I had an app that just wouldn’t build. I now figured out that apparently all apps that have Picture Story Books in them fail to build. Other Scripture apps compile well.

I’m getting the error

Task :minifyReleaseWithR8 FAILED
ERROR: Missing classes detected while running R8

I tried increasing the Maximum Gradle Heap Size in SAB because I thought maybe it’s about the app size. But it didn’t help.
I’m on Windows 10 using SAB 11.0.3
