Many people I observe use a Bible app are distracted away by incoming notifications and messages. One way to address this would be a SAB app feature that would turn off notifications alerts and other distractions while the SAB app is open.
There is a DND Flutter plugin that does this. I’m not sure if it could be adapted or used as a model to add this feature to SAB apps. I hope so. Please Vote for this feature if you would like to see this enhancement.
