Fine Tuning strangle display

After installing Wasta linux 24.04 and all the programs I wanted including Chrome (from Flathub). My SAB is version 12.3 Build 72 (07-Nov 2024). When I tried to do the Synchronization it requested to install 3 programs (either 2 or 3 programs). After the installation of those programs the Synchronization proceeded using Aeneas. Everything seemed to have proceeded okay. But when I tried to do the fine tuning it asked what program to use to open the HTML file (This is the first time I’ve ever got that request. There were only 3 choices, Chrome, plus ebook program and something else). I chose Chrome because I’ve always used chrome and it didn’t show me anything that I expected (ie: no verses and the text).

See the attached png file (since I can’t put a hyperlink to show it contact me to see it).

the image file only shows the name of the book (Genesis) and then below it says Normal (with an descending arrow) and below it a play button which is grayed out. No verses or text is shown and no length of time for the audio play button.

In the past linux and SAB versions I’ve done hundreds of fine tuning. What program hasn’t got installed for this current version to work properly?

This is weird. Can you try something? Right-click on a book collection with timings in the project view (under “Books”) and choose fine-tune timings. This will open the fine-tune wizard. Or right-click on an audio file with timing file under the Audio Files tab and choose the Fine Tune Timings manager. This will also open the wizard. Choose that you want to do the timings yourself and take note, in the next screen, of where SAB will create the HTML source files for the fine-tuning interface. Continue the wizard and then look in that folder to see what you have. Perhaps, that will give a clue.

It creates in App Builder/Scripture Apps/HTML Output/fine-tuning/org.xxx.xxxxxxxx folder and it has all the fine turnings of the project with 445 items in it. If I click on any of them I get the same result of Chrome is open

the file only shows the name of the book (Name and chapter) and then below it says Normal (with an descending arrow. If I click on it I can control the speed of the play back) and below it a play button which is grayed out. No verses or text is shown and no length of time for the audio play button.

I have found the solution. One of the Linux guys said uninstall Chrome Flatpak and install Chrome.deb and see if it does the same thing. I uninstalled Chrome flatpak and installed Chrome.deb and now SAB fine tuning works.
