How to copy the character replacement data of aeneas

I have two book collections of our same Scriptures with the same audio used in both which I hope will be running on our next new app by toggling between them both. One is in Tibetan font and one in Latin font. Somehow the character replacement data of aeneas which I had for the Tibetan book collection (01) is now associated with the Latin Book collection (02). How can I copy the data from the Character replacement data of aeneas and put it into the character replacement data of aeneas of our Tibetan book collection (01).

I tried to put in all the character replacements which I know into the Tibetan font book collection but it does a poor job of detecting the timings. I use to have a very sweet set up for Aeneas which produced an output which had very minimal changes needed for the timings. That is now associated the the aeneas data (character replacement of Book collection (02)). I need that data running in Book Collection (01) when we publish our next new OT books.

I wish there would be an export/import feature in SAB for character replacements! I have struggled with the same problem. There have been similar feature requests for this before

We are working on a lot of apps with Cyrillic text. Unfortunately, Aeneas doesn’t recognize these characters so we have to replace them all with Latin equivalents in the Character Replacement section. It would be great if we could export/import these replacements so we they don’t have to be added manually each time. This would be especially helpful at SAB workshops for new users of SAB. Thanks!

Export and import character replacements for Aeneas

It would be great if the table of character replacements (used to synchronize non-Roman script with audio) could be used for several apps. Case in point: I (and people I support) work a lot with Cyrillic texts and in order to make Aeneas work we have to type in at least 20 to 30 characters. If these could be exported and then imported to another project, it would be useful. What I have done is to find the respective section in the .appdef file and pasted it into another .appdef file’s appropriat…

The only work-around that I found is editing the .appDef file. But be aware that this could mess up your whole project! So you need to make a copy of the .appDef file first! You can find the section that deals with character replacements and then copy it to the place where the character replacements of the other book collections are stored. It’s a bit tricky.
