More control over cross reference links

SAB will apparently create cross reference links wherever it determines there are verse references in front or back matter books (or other non-scripture resources). This is irregardless of whether there are links specified in the SFM file. This can sometimes create problems–e.g. a language where the books of 1, 2 and 3 John are written with the number following the name: John 1, John 2 and John 3. In one case, these books are listed in a table of NT book names, but SAB incorrectly interprets these as links to the Gospel of John, chapters 1, 2 and 3 respectively, and underlines them. In another case, the inclusion of something like 5.34 as a decimal number is interpreted as a link to chapter 5, verse 34 of some unspecified book (so it gets underlined like a link but doesn’t actually link anywhere).
My request is that SAB only puts in links where actually specified by markers in the SFM file and/or also gives control over how links are displayed–perhaps allowing specific settings per book.
Thanks!
