I have a question about audio synchronization for a non-Scripture book (bible study with questions) and I’ve read the PDF about using Audacity to help me create the timing files but I can’t figure out the following:
When I have SAB create my phrase lists, phrases ‘a’ through approximately ‘c’ are taking up by the the title and subject headings. These aren’t in the audio and I don’t want them highlighted. The first phrase I want highlighted is phrase ‘d’. So I create my timing file with the first phrase starting at 0 seconds with label ‘d’.
However, the audio synchronization isn’t working correctly and I’m wondering if my timing labels need to start at ‘a’. Does SAB actually use the phrase lists such that I need to delete the titles and subject headings from the phrase lists?
