It will be great to have HearThis for Mac. I remember @David_Rowbory has figure out a way to host the HearThis on a Mac using VM, if I remember my conversation with him.

We have used HT primarily as a checking device for unpublished scripture. The end result would be a polished audio version of published scripture that would go hand and hand together. So yes, we use HT as a per-publication method. To further answer your questions: we generally use Windows laptop and offline for our field teams. We have not used HT Android extensively.
