Hi,
We’re aiming to create a PWA which highlights phrases as the audio plays. The automatic segmentation into phrases sometimes creates very short phrases, because of punctuation, which the person fine-tuning the timings has suggested would be better combined. For example, John 4:7 reads: O̱ki. Annayii ito̱ʼtoowa oma̱a aaki̱i̱wa. Ista̱a̱kiiwa Samaria. |Ito̱ʼtota̱akisiwa. Otsi̱tanikka omi̱i Jesus, “Noohko̱ttakookit.”
Aeneas automatically broke this into these phrases (from the file in the Phrases folder):
7a|O̱ki.
7b|Annayii ito̱ʼtoowa oma̱a aaki̱i̱wa.
7c|Ista̱a̱kiiwa Samaria.
7d|Ito̱ʼtota̱akisiwa.
7e|Otsi̱tanikka omi̱i Jesus,
7f|“Noohko̱ttakookit.”
Phrase 7a is too short and said too quickly before 7b, so we want to combine 7a & b:
7a|O̱ki. Annayii ito̱ʼtoowa oma̱a aaki̱i̱wa.
7b|Ista̱a̱kiiwa Samaria.
7c|Ito̱ʼtota̱akisiwa.
7d|Otsi̱tanikka omi̱i Jesus,
7e|“Noohko̱ttakookit.”
Editing the phrases file doesn’t seem to have any effect on the PWA output. It seems that the PWA html files are generated without regard to the phrases file, maybe just based on the phrase-break punctuation list. Is there any way, other than manually editing the PWA html files, to combine phrases?
