SAB 10.2 Scripture References - almost there

Great to finally have control over this

Still missing:
List of Chapters e.g. Matthew 1:2; 3:4

I foresee some unlinked references coming up…

Greg, there is now a Test button on the Scripture References page. Please can you try that with the string of references to parse and see if you get the result you expect, or if anything is missing.

Thanks @richard
The Test parses the semi-colon, but it is always better to be able to specify the character(s) for those who use different systems.

Another issue:

We use space-hyphen-space for Range of Chapters in all of our texts.
Please allow for additional characters in these fields.

Joh. 1:1 - 2:3 does not parse usefully:

It should be parsing as Johannes 1:1-2:3.

Removing the spaces is not a practical solution. To do so with any accuracy will require an over-complicated regex and most likely add errors to the text.

@richard I tested with two hyphens and it split it, like in @GregAshleyCooper example. So it seems to only cope with a single character for the chapter range.

Just saw the code has changed and the next version will be able to handle the multicharacter chapter range.

I had a problem with cross-references not working, but it has been solved
