I have on my app, Old Testament and New Testament. It is about time that I change the heading from English to the vernacular which we are using to describe Old Testament and New Testament. However I can’t find where the Old Testament and New Testament are listed in the SAB where I can change the heading to the vernacular. Can someone point me where it is?
Go to the Interface > Translations tab, and search for “Book_Group”:
So if I want to write the vernacular for Old Testament and New Testament and it will appear in the app as the vernacular not as English, I will have to write it in Appearance>Interface>translations> custom tab which is beside the English tab for my SAB? I would then write the words for Old Testament and New Testament in the vernacular script in the custom column?
It depends when you want to see the vernacular titles. If you always want to see ‘New Testament’ displayed in the vernacular language, irrespective of which interface language is selected, then you need to put the vernacular translation as the English translation.
Otherwise, if you only want to see the vernacular titles when the user has selected the custom (vernacular) interface language, then yes, you need to put the translations in the custom column.
