In Appearance → Formatting, there are checkboxes to turn off “Show Chapter Number” and “Show Verse Numbers”. In our projects, we don’t want these to appear, but then they do show up in the footnote reference (at the beginning of each footnote). Hiding them manually is a bit clunky (unless you can tell me an easy way to do it in the styles), so this setting should hide the chapter and verse numbers in footnotes just as it does in the main body text.
Also, our projects uses Eastern Arabic numerals. The verse numbers are transferred from the SFM file into the Eastern Arabic numerals (e.g. ۱.۲), but the footnote reference numbers (for our projects that DO use them) show up as Latin numerals (e.g. 1.2). Is this the intended behavior? Can this be switched somewhere?
