Verse by verse layout - verse not displayed

We are working on an app of the book of Jonah (SFM file) with images (using the \fig… \fig* marking). We would like to enable verse by verse display of a parallel text. It works very well except that the very first verse is not displayed when the texts are in a certain order. When the order is reversed, the verse gets displayed in both languages.

Has anyone ever had the same problem?

Update on this: I was able to get it working by changing some of the formatting in the SFM file. Not sure if it should have worked without these changes.

I’d be interested to see what you had and what you changed it to so that it worked.
