Hi,

Thanks for V 7.0! The verse image feature is great.

I did not realize the images are bundled with the app. I think one main drawback of LifeTV’s Bible App is that the set of images are static so it gets repetitive after awhile. I realize I can go download bunch images on my own onto my phone, then use that local image. But somehow I thought it would be some kind of search api that searches across few photo websites. Then I thought again, an English based search is probably not very useful for mostly non English speakers.

Maybe my use case is not typical as I am running a FB page where I post daily. I am curious to hear the team’s thoughts about this.

I came across Unsplash API recently: https://unsplash.com/developers
I think this could be an easy way to let people search for great images without bundling them with the app, of course there will need to add some translations to the UI and download and cache the images.
