As most Print NT’s do not have the verse number 1 listed, Since there is a large Chapter number just to the left on the page, we would like the ability hide verse number 1 and just have verses 2 and higher show on the App.
+1 good idea, makes sense typographically and is probably doable on the technical side
Such stuff should be user-configurable by chapter, not brutally automatic, since there could be a (sub)-heading at the beginning of certain chapters. And depending on language, verse 1 could be quite far down the screen from the chapter-number, and then it make make sense again to show the little 1.
